Job Overview:

The Labor and Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters related to labor and employment law. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, with specific expertise in labor and employment law being a valuable asset. The individual must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in labor and employment law cases, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment-related issues to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and legal opinions.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Stay informed about developments in labor and employment law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Proven experience in labor and employment law is highly desirable.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Oregon.
