Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking a Foreclosure Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in litigation, specifically in foreclosure matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and litigating foreclosure cases, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and working closely with clients to achieve favorable outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a growing practice, providing legal expertise in foreclosure and related matters.

Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and approve foreclosure-related pleadings.
  • Handle all aspects of foreclosure cases, including contested foreclosures.
  • Participate in mediations, depositions, and both telephonic and in-person hearings.
  • Regularly update and meet with clients to provide case status updates and strategic guidance.
  • Manage a significant caseload, ensuring timely and accurate case progression.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned, leveraging legal knowledge and experience.
  • Apply background knowledge in residential lending, foreclosure, and title litigation, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Foreclosure Litigator, with a strong understanding of New Jersey foreclosure law.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Active and in-good-standing member of the New Jersey Bar.
