Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Atlanta, GA office. This role provides a unique opportunity for a junior attorney to be part of a dynamic litigation team handling complex cases in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of litigation experience and a strong foundation in motion practice, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.

Duties:

• Handle all phases of litigation, including motion drafting, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Draft and argue dispositive, expert, and discovery motions.

• Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategies.

• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.

• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies.

• Manage case files, document productions, and communications with opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of litigation experience, preferably in complex litigation.

• Experience in motion practice, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Excellent oral advocacy and client communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar or admission to another state bar with a willingness to go through the Georgia Bar admission process.
