Associate Attorney Litigation

Job Overview:

A law firm seeks an experienced and dedicated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Little Rock, AR. Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients in various litigation matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Manage litigation tasks, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them informed on case progress and developments.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in legal research and drafting (preferred).
• Experience in litigation is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Arkansas State Bar (active and in good standing).

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting complex legal documents.
