Intellectual Property Patent Agent

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or computer sciences. Admittance to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred. Duties:

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications, ensuring compliance with USPTO regulations and procedures.
• Conduct patentability searches and analyze prior art to draft comprehensive patent applications.
• Draft responses to office actions, amendments, and other correspondence required during patent prosecution.
• Collaborate with clients and inventors to gather technical information and details about inventions.
• Manage and monitor deadlines for pending patent applications and related matters.
• Provide strategic advice on patent portfolio management and development.
• Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and technological advancements.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of patent strategies and contribute to portfolio management.
• Prepare and file patent application documents, including claims, specifications, and drawings.

Requirements:
