Job Overview: A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing estate planning, conservatorship, litigation, and trust/estate administration practice. This position will provide significant responsibility, including direct client contact, and will offer the opportunity to handle a wide range of trust and estate matters. Location:

Duties:

  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Administer trusts, handle probates, and manage conservatorship matters
  • Manage trust and estate litigation as necessary
  • Maintain regular client contact and provide legal advice throughout the process
  • Handle a high volume of cases, ensuring timely and efficient case management
  • Participate in professional and community activities to increase visibility within the legal field

Requirements:

  • Experience in Trusts & Estates law
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and handle complex matters
  • Strong organizational, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar

Skills:

  • Expertise in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and conservatorships
  • Strong litigation experience in trust and estate matters
  • Proficient in legal research and writing
  • Effective communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
