Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team in a hybrid capacity. This role involves collaborating with the firm’s network of legal professionals and handling a diverse range of family law cases. The firm supports its attorneys by providing client sourcing, intake, marketing, administrative assistance, and business management to allow legal practitioners to focus on providing exceptional legal counsel.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support.
  • Provide compassionate legal advice to clients during significant life events.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-ups and deadlines.
  • Offer support in resolving complex legal issues related to family law.
  • Work with clients on limited-scope representation, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the State Bar and good standing.
  • At least 3 years of experience practicing family law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience in limited-scope representation is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Passionate about providing ethical, empathetic, and high-quality legal services to clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
