Litigation Attorney

Duties

• Handle cases involving construction law, commercial and residential real estate law, and business litigation.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Provide expert legal counsel in transactions and disputes across various industries.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters, offering strategic insights.
• Manage cases independently while working as part of a team to meet client needs.
• Foster client relationships and develop additional practice areas.

Requirements

• For newly admitted attorneys: a strong interest in construction, real estate, and business law.
• For mid-level attorneys: substantial deposition and law and motion experience.
• For experienced attorneys: extensive deposition, law and motion, and trial experience.
• High academic achievement, with preference given to candidates from top law schools.
• Judicial clerkships and board certification in construction law are strong assets.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle a demanding caseload.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and legal research skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Membership in the Texas State Bar is preferred.
