A law firm is currently seeking a Mid-Level Private Funds Associate Attorney for their office located in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of private funds experience and must be admitted to the New York Bar with excellent credentials.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Private Funds Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance on various aspects of private funds transactions and regulatory compliance matters.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to private funds regulations and transactions.
  • Draft and review private fund offering documents, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, and subscription documents.
  • Assist in negotiating and structuring private funds transactions, including fund formations, investments, and exits.
  • Advise clients on compliance matters related to securities laws, investment adviser regulations, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties, including clients, investors, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate smooth fund operations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in private funds practice at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials from a recognized law school.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
