Duties:

  • Meet with clients to discuss and develop estate planning strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Draft and review a variety of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Oversee the preparation of deeds, including trust transfer deeds and quitclaim deeds.
  • Conduct legal research to support estate planning services.
  • Supervise the signing and notarization process with staff members.
  • Manage client communications and cultivate strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the legal support team to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Previous experience in estate planning law is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and WealthCounsel software.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in California.
