Commercial Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

Location:

• Baltimore, MD

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various commercial litigation matters.
• Assist senior attorneys with drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage, organize, and oversee all aspects of e-discovery.
• Attend court hearings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Participate in all aspects of case development, from inception to conclusion.

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of litigation experience.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software, particularly with e-discovery management platforms such as Relativity or Nextpoint.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience in both state and federal courts.
• A strong candidate will have judicial clerkship experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maryland State Bar or the ability to obtain admission.

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
• Detailed understanding of commercial litigation procedures.
• Experience with e-discovery management and legal research tools.
