Duties:

• Manage a large caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Communicate daily with clients, taxpayers, staff, and other stakeholders through written and verbal correspondence.
• Draft, review, and respond to legal documents promptly, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Attend and prepare for weekly court hearings and trials in Lubbock County and surrounding areas.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Participate in local evening and weekend events, as well as statewide conferences as needed.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 3+ years of legal experience preferred (newly licensed attorneys will also be considered).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and across the state (25% travel required).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Texas Bar license required.
