A law firm seeks a seasoned Pre-Litigation Intake Attorney Manager to join its team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, along with the ability to guide pre-litigation attorneys on matters such as pleadings, discovery, and depositions. Duties:

  • Manage and oversee a team of pre-litigation attorneys, ensuring smooth and effective case management.
  • Guide on legal matters, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions, to maximize case value.
  • Ensure that pre-litigation cases are thoroughly prepared for trial, with all necessary documentation and case development completed efficiently.
  • Utilize advanced case management software to monitor and guide the team’s work on a docket of cases.
  • Supervise and mentor pre-litigation attorneys, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on case status and progress for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment on case strategy and firm goals.
  • Review and approve case-related documents and assist with client communication and development.
  • Create and maintain a positive, results-driven work environment for the team.
  • Stay current on legal trends and best practices in pre-litigation and personal injury law.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, particularly in guiding and developing pre-litigation teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury law, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently.
  • Proficiency with case management software and technology-driven processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and senior leadership.
  • Texas Bar license in good standing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Texas Bar membership in good standing.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
