Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters
  • Handle fraud and abuse issues and assist in compliance efforts
  • Address reimbursement disputes, investigations, and business transactions
  • Advise clients on joint ventures, private equity investments, and managed care
  • Work with clients from various healthcare organizations, including hospitals, academic medical centers, and medical groups
  • Collaborate on life sciences transactions and managed care-related matters
  • Stay updated on relevant healthcare regulations and policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance law
  • Strong expertise in fraud, abuse, and compliance within healthcare transactions
  • Proven track record of handling reimbursement disputes and investigations
  • Experience with joint ventures, private equity, managed care, or life sciences transactions
  • Ability to manage complex healthcare legal matters and provide strategic advice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in California
