A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have experience handling a broad range of employment litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, depositions, and substantive motion practice. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a broad range of employment litigation matters, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, initial pleadings, and substantive motion practice.
  • Conduct depositions and assist with trial preparation.
  • Provide legal advice and counseling on employment-related matters.
  • Assist with internal investigations and audits.
  • Draft employment policies, handbooks, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment issues.
  • Assist with employment-related regulatory compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff on client matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Experience with employment advisory matters preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Excellent academic achievement, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.

 

Skills:

  • Experience handling employment litigation matters.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Experience with employment advisory matters preferred.
