Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This is a remote opportunity for a motivated attorney with strong litigation skills, particularly in federal and state court matters. Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and legal correspondence

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis

  • Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings

  • Develop case strategies in collaboration with legal team members

  • Draft and respond to discovery requests

  • Engage in negotiations and communicate effectively with opposing counsel

  • Prepare and conduct depositions, including witness preparation

  • Handle trial preparation, including evidentiary motions, exhibit lists, and pre-trial briefs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience in federal and state courts

  • Strong knowledge of Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

  • Demonstrated ability to argue substantive motions in court

  • Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills

  • Ability to independently manage a caseload while collaborating with a team on larger cases

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in The Florida Bar
