Duties

  • Provide counsel and representation to clients on various environmental matters, including regulatory compliance, litigation, investigations, enforcement actions, and transactional due diligence.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support environmental cases and client initiatives.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other case-related paperwork.
  • Participate in negotiations, depositions, and settlement discussions to advance client interests.
  • Collaborate closely with other attorneys and legal professionals across different practice areas within the firm.

Requirements

  • 2-7 years of experience in environmental law or related legal fields.
  • Experience or familiarity with regulatory compliance, environmental litigation, government investigations, enforcement actions, and due diligence for transactions.
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and related state environmental regulations.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active law license in Pennsylvania.
