The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in both condominium/HOA law and civil litigation. The role requires a strong background in handling community association matters, as well as a proven track record in civil litigation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to community associations, including condominiums and homeowners' associations (HOAs).
  • Manage and oversee community association matters, including governance issues, enforcement of covenants, and disputes.
  • Handle civil litigation cases related to community associations, including filing and defending lawsuits.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and amendments related to community associations.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda and opinions.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to effectively manage and resolve cases.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure efficient case management.
  • Stay updated on developments in community association law and civil litigation.

Requirements

  • 2-7 years of experience in condominium/HOA law and civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of community association governance and related legal issues.
  • Proven experience in handling civil litigation cases from start to finish.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
