Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Mid-Level Insurance Recovery Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role involves representing policyholders in all stages of the insurance recovery process, including policy analysis, claim presentation, and resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling complex insurance recovery matters and working on both domestic and international cases.

Duties:

• Represent policyholders in insurance recovery matters, including advising on claim presentation and analyzing insurance policies.
• Manage disputes through negotiations, mediations, and litigations, both in domestic and international forums.
• Analyze and assess facts related to insurance claims and the associated losses.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategic approaches to resolving insurance disputes.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Appear in court and participate in hearings and trials as required.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance recovery or related legal fields.
• Strong understanding of insurance law and the recovery process.
• Proven track record in managing complex legal cases, both domestically and internationally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle a high volume of work efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of insurance recovery law.
• Excellent litigation and negotiation skills.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
