A law firm seeks an experienced attorney for a full-time position based in El Segundo, CA. Duties

• Manage and oversee personal injury or employment law cases from start to finish.
• Respond to and propound discovery, including drafting meet and confer letters.
• Work directly with clients to resolve legal matters and ensure they are informed throughout the process.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys for complex law and motion work, including motions and oppositions.
• Negotiate settlements and handle case-related correspondence and documentation.
• Contribute to the firm’s goal of providing excellent client service and achieving favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in personal injury law or employment law.
• Proven ability to handle discovery, case management, and client relations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a focus on work-life balance.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar License.
