Associate Attorney needed for Chicago office

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 to 3 years of litigation experience to join its HOA Practice Group. Duties:

• Represent condominium associations and common interest community associations.

• Handle matters related to rule enforcement, interpretation of governing documents, contract review, and negotiation.

• Manage collection of assessments for associations.

• Conduct legal research, drafting, and writing for litigation purposes.

• Assist with case preparation, including strategy and documentation.

• Maintain strong administrative hygiene, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in HOA law.

• Active bar license in Illinois.

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.

• Superb work ethic and ability to work independently and within a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Illinois bar license.
