A law firm in New York City, NY, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney with over 5 years of business litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate litigation and corporate litigation, including expertise in preparing pleadings and dispositive motions, drafting injunction papers, handling e-discovery, managing discovery disputes, and taking and defending depositions.

Duties

• Handle business litigation cases with a focus on commercial real estate and corporate litigation
• Prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, and injunction papers
• Manage e-discovery processes and navigate discovery disputes
• Conduct and defend depositions in various legal proceedings
• Litigate extensively in state and federal courts, with a preference for New York and New Jersey jurisdictions
• Practice law in multiple jurisdictions as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of business litigation experience
• Extensive experience in commercial real estate and corporate litigation
• Strong preference for Bar admissions in both New York and New Jersey
• Familiarity with practicing in multiple jurisdictions
• Extensive experience litigating in state and federal courts (New York and/or New Jersey preferred)
• Strong academic credentials

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York and New Jersey (preferred)
