This position will focus on managing a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and parental rights & responsibilities cases. The ideal candidate will be an effective advocate, a strategic thinker, and someone who can deliver exceptional results while maintaining the highest standards of legal service.

Duties:

  • Represent clients through all phases of family law litigation, including hearings and trials
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and settlement proposals

  • Lead settlement negotiations, always prioritizing the client's best interests

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Maine State Bar (or the ability to obtain reciprocal admission if relocating)
