Duties:

  • Represent clients in pretrial hearings and court appearances.
  • Advise clients on strategies following hearings and assist with decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare for trials by analyzing case law and precedents.
  • Oversee a varied caseload, ensuring efficient management and timely resolutions.
  • Collect and review evidence to strengthen client cases and counter prosecution claims.
  • Prepare clients for depositions and trials, including gathering witness testimony and expert opinions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense.
  • Proven experience managing both state and federal criminal cases.
  • Strong legal analysis and case management skills.
  • Experience with complex criminal cases and litigation processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in California.
