A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Corporate Transactional Attorney with over 7 years of expertise in handling matters involving emerging technologies, particularly blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The ideal candidate will be highly skilled and able to independently manage complex legal issues without constant supervision. The attorney will handle various corporate transactional matters, including finance, digital asset characterization and regulation, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property licensing.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on blockchain technology, NFTs, and digital asset characterization and regulation.
  • Independently draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including agreements related to intellectual property licensing, lending transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advise clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of digital assets, including compliance and risk management.
  • Lead and manage business transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and executing mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategies and solutions for complex technology-driven legal matters.
  • Oversee the drafting of financial documents and agreements related to corporate finance, lending transactions, and other business operations.
  • Provide high-level strategic legal advice with minimal supervision, ensuring the firm’s clients receive top-quality service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Corporate Transactional Attorney.
  • Proven experience in technology-related matters, with a focus on blockchain and NFTs.
  • Must have spent at least 30 months in a prior role, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
  • Ability to independently handle complex legal matters with minimal oversight.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.

Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Strong academic record, demonstrating a deep understanding of corporate and technology law.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Expertise in blockchain technology, NFTs, and digital asset regulation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property law.
