This non-litigation role involves providing employment-related guidance in corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising various types of employers on all facets of the employment relationship.

Duties:

  • Provide employment-related assistance in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Counsel employers on various aspects of employment law, including compliance, policies, and risk management
  • Advise on issues related to executive compensation, employee benefits, and employment agreements
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality and information protection standards, managing sensitive and proprietary client information

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment counseling, with a broad base of knowledge in employment law
  • Strong background in employment aspects of corporate transactions
  • Excellent advisory skills and ability to provide comprehensive employment counseling to diverse clients

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction(s) (e.g., California or New York)
