Duties

• Conduct one-on-one estate planning consultation meetings with clients

• Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

• Manage estate plan review and signing meetings

• Guide clients through updating and maintaining their estate plans

• Assist families and individuals during probate and estate administration following a loved one’s passing

• Contribute to firm development and outreach across Minnesota

• Collaborate with team members to support firm operations and client service initiatives

• Manage legal projects, workflows, and timelines independently

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota

• Comfortable conducting client consultations independently

• Ability to manage multiple matters and client relationships

• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and compassionate demeanor

• Willingness to support firm-wide growth and contribute beyond the scope of traditional legal duties

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Minnesota State Bar

Skills

• Experience with wills, trusts, and estate administration preferred (1–3 years)

• Excellent drafting and document review skills

• Strong client communication and relationship-building abilities

• Organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
