The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury work, including pleadings, discovery, examinations before trial (EBTs), and court appearances. Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to personal injury cases.
  • Conduct and manage discovery, including interrogatories, depositions, and document production.
  • Represent clients in examinations before trial (EBTs) and court appearances.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to inform them about case developments and progress.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury work.
  • Demonstrated experience in pleadings, discovery, EBTs, and court appearances.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
