Securities Associate/Of Counsel - Investment Funds Group

A law firm seeks an experienced securities attorney with over six years of expertise managing structured securities offerings. This role requires a strong foundation in commercial real estate law, particularly focusing on finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The successful candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, contributing to a variety of legal projects.

Duties:

• Represent a diverse range of public and private real estate clients, including REITs and institutional investors, in various transactions.
• Oversee the complexities involved in acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and sophisticated financing related to commercial real estate.
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and analyze critical legal documents associated with real estate transactions.
• Deliver strategic insights informed by sound business judgment and extensive legal knowledge.
• Effectively manage multiple projects while demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of six years of experience managing structured securities offerings.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active attorney license in the jurisdiction of practice.
