Job Overview: A law firm specializing in litigation seeks a skilled Trade Secrets/Non-Compete Litigator Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation and demonstrate proficiency in handling complex legal matters with precision and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in litigation involving trade secrets, non-compete agreements, and other restrictive covenants.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to case strategies.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends related to trade secrets and non-compete litigation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
  • 5-8 years of experience in restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation matters.
  • Strong understanding of procedural and substantive law related to trade secrets and non-compete agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Admission to additional State Bars such as California or Colorado.
  • Experience with motions for injunctive relief and expedited discovery.
  • Prior experience managing junior associates or legal assistants.
