A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to support its Mount Laurel practice. Duties

  • Manage a significant caseload in creditors' rights and real estate litigation
  • Conduct discovery, lead depositions, and resolve legal issues efficiently
  • Represent clients in court appearances, including trial and appellate matters
  • Prepare and draft various legal documents, including motions, briefs, and responses
  • Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with relevant laws such as TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships within the industry to enhance firm reputation
  • Collaborate with team members and support the firm's growth initiatives
  • Participate in community outreach and pro bono opportunities as part of the firm’s values

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience preferred; newly licensed attorneys may apply
  • Skills: Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Court Knowledge: Familiarity with New Jersey legal system and procedures

Education

  • Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Bar Admission: Active member of the New Jersey State Bar; additional state licenses are advantageous
