A law firm in Austin, TX is seeking a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 3 - 5 years of experience in intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to handling client matters. Duties:

  • Handle intellectual property litigation matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Counsel clients on ongoing matters and provide strategic advice.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to a State Bar is required.
  • Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework.
  • Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
