Attorney needed for Denver office

A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking an Attorney with litigation experience to handle a variety of legal tasks from case intake through appeal. The role requires drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, preparing discovery, participating in trials, and managing cases independently.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses and experts
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
• Participate in trials and hearings, including courtroom appearances
• Manage cases from intake through all stages of litigation, including appeal if necessary
• Negotiate settlements and handle mediation proceedings
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado
• 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Proven ability to handle cases independently and efficiently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado
