A law firm seeks a proactive Compliance Attorney to join its team in Irving, TX. This role is designed for a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and supporting the firm's commitment to maintaining high standards in legal practices.

Duties:

  • Conduct audits and case reviews for assigned teams to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with assigned teams every week to monitor adherence to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and work with teams to address and rectify issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of audits and compliance measures.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree; must be a licensed attorney in the U.S. and in good standing.
  • Familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience working effectively on cross-functional teams.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research and compliance-related tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating compliance measures and outcomes.
