A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in civil litigation and/or workers’ compensation. Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation and workers' compensation cases

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

  • Analyze legal issues and provide sound legal guidance

  • Manage caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

  • Licensed and actively practicing law in the state of Minnesota

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance defense is a plus

  • Prior litigation experience with trial preparation and court appearances

Certifications

  • Admission to the Minnesota State Bar (Active and in good standing)
