Duties:

• Manage and oversee IP litigation matters, including briefing, motions practice, depositions, and case management.
• Handle PTAB proceedings, trial preparation, and expert witness coordination.
• Supervise junior associates, paralegals, and support staff, providing guidance and mentoring.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies, ensuring timely progression of cases.
• Engage in discovery, pre-trial, and trial phases of litigation.
• Work with clients and other legal professionals to provide high-quality legal representation in IP litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, including substantial exposure to motions practice, depositions, and expert witness work.
• Proven ability to manage litigation cases independently, with experience supervising junior team members.
• Strong understanding of patent law and IP litigation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with legal and client teams.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in California or have the ability to obtain licensure shortly.
• USPTO admission is preferred, especially for candidates with an engineering background.
