Job Overview:

The Civil Litigation Associate Attorney will handle a diverse range of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, construction defects, and more. From case inception to resolution, the Associate Attorney will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, and represent clients in court.

Duties:

• Handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, construction defects, and more.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery processes, including requests, responses, and document review.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Take depositions and participate in trials.
• Independently manage a caseload while collaborating with team members.
• Maintain a client-focused mindset, striving for successful outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• An active member of the Nevada State Bar, in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
• Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with team members.
• A client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• An active member of the Nevada State Bar, in good standing.
