Attorney with employment defense experience

A law firm in Needham, MA, seeks an Attorney with 4-5 years of Massachusetts employment defense experience. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in employment-related matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in employment defense matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
• 4-5 years of experience practicing employment defense law.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts employment laws and regulations.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
