Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a Securities Attorney with 6+ years of experience managing structured securities offerings to join its Investment Funds Group. This is a professional track/non-partnership position. The role focuses on commercial real estate law, including real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The attorney will represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional and financial investors in complex transactions. Strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, business judgment, and organizational abilities are essential. This position can be based in multiple U.S. offices.

Location:

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

  • Manage structured securities offerings within the Investment Funds Group.

  • Handle transactions involving real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.

  • Represent clients, including REITs and financial investors, in acquisitions, restructurings, financings, and commercial real estate development.

  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic counsel.

  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and team members to develop innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.

  • Experience in commercial real estate law with a focus on finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.

  • Previous work in an AmLaw 100 firm preferred.

  • Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong business judgment and organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.

  • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Conceptual and strategic thinking.
