A law firm based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a skilled Litigation Securities Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in securities litigation, with a strong grasp of financial markets and regulatory compliance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials related to securities litigation cases.
  • Analyze complex financial documents, including SEC filings, financial statements, and trading records.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, including witness preparation and examination.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Manage document review and electronic discovery processes effectively and efficiently.
  • Stay abreast of developments in securities laws, regulations, and judicial decisions impacting client matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in California.
  • 2+ years of experience practicing securities litigation at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state securities laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and legal documents.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with arbitration and mediation related to securities disputes.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, and corporate governance.
  • Previous experience managing junior associates or paralegals.
