Duties

• Manage all phases of personal injury litigation from inception to resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive case investigations to assess liability and damages.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery motions, and oppositions to motions for summary judgment (MSJs).
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court, serving as the first chair in civil jury trials.
• Provide consistent and high-quality client communication and service.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing to practice law in California.
• A minimum of 7+ years of personal injury experience with a focus on trial work.
• Proven record of at least 10 civil jury trials taken to verdict.
• Comprehensive understanding of state laws, regulations, and procedures related to personal injury cases.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and delivering effective legal advice.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple cases and achieving favorable outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams, support staff, and paralegals.
• High organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
