Duties:

• Assist in handling various aspects of litigation including factual investigation, drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and participation in trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on diverse matters, with a focus on financial services and employment-related cases.
• Engage in both state and federal court proceedings, as well as regulatory forums.
• Contribute to case strategies and legal arguments while gaining valuable trial experience.
• Develop and refine litigation skills under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
• Manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, ideally within a big law firm environment.
• Exceptional academic record with Law Review or similar experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and multiple priorities efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills:

• Litigation experience, particularly in defense-side matters.
