A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience handling commercial and business disputes. The ideal candidate should have strong case management skills, work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude, along with excellent oral advocacy, communication, and writing skills. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.

 

Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and responses to written discovery.
  • Participate in depositions, oral arguments, and trial/arbitration preparation.
  • Manage cases effectively, including organizing documents, conducting legal research, and coordinating with clients and co-counsel.
  • Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff on case strategy and execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel in a professional and effective manner.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 4-6 years of experience handling commercial and business disputes.
  • Strong case management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent oral advocacy, communication, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.
