Duties

• Manage all aspects of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and preparing for trial.
• Advise clients on employment law matters, offering strategic counseling and risk mitigation.
• Represent clients in employment-related disputes before courts, arbitrators, and mediators.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team efforts in achieving successful outcomes for clients.
• Stay current on developments in employment law and provide innovative legal solutions to complex issues.
• Actively engage in the firm’s business development and marketing initiatives.
• Participate in pro bono and community service opportunities, demonstrating a commitment to giving back.

Requirements

• Experience in employment law, including litigation and counseling.
• Proven experience in managing and litigating employment-related cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, actionable advice.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Motivation to continue learning and evolving within the field of employment law.
• Active participation in professional organizations is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
