Job Overview: The Litigation Associate Attorney will handle various litigation cases, primarily focused on insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, and must be licensed to practice law in Virginia.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Virginia State Bar.
• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for insurance defense experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
