Workers' Compensation Attorney

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law and a strong desire to grow professionally. The role involves managing a caseload, handling hearings and trials, and working closely with clients to secure the compensation they deserve.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a substantial caseload of Workers' Compensation claims
• Conduct opening and closing arguments in hearings and trials
• Perform direct and cross-examination of witnesses
• File necessary appeals, rebuttals, and legal summations
• Prepare and review case files, ensuring all records are complete and accurate
• Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on case status
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law (preferred)
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and assume significant responsibility
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of empathy and professionalism when interacting with clients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Fluency in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, or Creole is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission required
