A well-established boutique law firm in Lewisville, TX, specializing in construction law and litigation, is seeking a motivated Construction Litigation Attorney. This hybrid role requires strong litigation experience, with a focus on discovery processes, and offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment serving clients primarily in the construction sector.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee discovery processes, including third-party and expert discovery.
  • Conduct written discovery and depositions with minimal supervision.
  • Handle litigation matters independently while receiving guidance on case strategies when necessary.
  • Collaborate with partners and team members to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain a hybrid work schedule, with three days in-office and two days remote.
  • Meet weekly billable hour requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction or insurance defense.
  • Proficiency in managing discovery, including drafting, responding to, and reviewing documents.
  • Ability to conduct depositions and prepare expert discovery effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle cases independently.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid work arrangement.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
