Associate Attorney needed for San Diego office

Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will work hands-on from case inception to trial, handling a diverse range of personal injury cases. They will have the opportunity to actively participate in litigation, including deposition, discovery, mediation, law and motion, and trial proceedings.

Duties:

• Handle a broad range of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and sexual abuse cases.
• Work closely with a team of experienced attorneys and staff members.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct discovery.
• Attend mediations.
• Argue law and motion.
• Serve as first or second chair in arbitrations and/or jury trials.

Requirements:

• Member of the California Bar.
• Superior drafting, writing, and research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate on behalf of clients effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
