Duties:

• Offer strategic counsel on labor and employment matters to clients from a variety of industries.
• Represent clients in litigation, including handling employment disputes, wrongful termination cases, and other complex employment matters.
• Develop comprehensive strategies for clients concerning compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Negotiate and resolve employment disputes, including collective bargaining agreements and workplace conflict resolution.
• Oversee the preparation and review of legal documents related to labor and employment law.
• Guide HR policies, employee relations, and risk management to mitigate legal exposure for clients.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys in the labor and employment practice area.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local labor and employment regulations and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in both the advisory and litigation aspects of labor and employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clients with strategic legal advice in labor and employment matters.
• Proven track record of handling complex employment-related disputes in a variety of industries.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on guiding junior attorneys.
• Ability to handle multiple complex cases simultaneously with a client-focused approach.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the state bar of Florida.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Additional certifications or specializations in labor and employment law are a plus.
