Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury defense and civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and trial briefs.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Handle complex litigation cases, including products liability, insurance defense, and professional malpractice.
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in personal injury defense and civil litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to handle a variety of cases independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in representing clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in the State of Texas (required).

Skills:
